Will a 110g fuel canister fit inside?
Yes. The 3.7" internal diameter fits a standard 110g backpacking fuel canister perfectly. You can also fit a compact stove, lighter, and a Valtcan 450ml cup. The entire cook kit packs into one unit inside the included mesh bag
How does the bail handle work?
The bail handle is a U-shaped wire attaching at two pivot points on the rim. Fold it upright to hang the pot from sticks, tripods, or hooks. The curved notch at the top prevents sliding. Fold it flat when not in use, or remove it entirely - it's fully detachable.
Does the lid actually stay on?
Yes - the Valtcan lid is designed to fit tightly. It won't rattle loose in your pack or slide off on the stove. Steam vent holes release pressure safely. The small foldable handle on the lid makes it easy to lift with a utensil or gloved hand. This is a problem we specifically designed around.
What about the heat patina?
When heated over flame, titanium develops natural blue, gold, and purple tones. This is purely cosmetic - it doesn't affect taste, performance, or structure. Many users deliberately develop unique patina patterns. Your pot tells the story of every fire it's been on. It's a feature, not damage.
