Before you order: these are bare, uncoated metal. Like any metal utensil, the tips will be hot straight out of boiling broth, so give them a second before they touch your mouth. And if you cook with them, keep the metal tips off nonstick pan coatings, which any metal utensil can scratch.

Are metal chopsticks slippery?
Polished steel chopsticks are, which is why people give up on them. These are different in two ways: the bead blasted satin surface is not polished, and the tips carry CNC cut ring grooves that bite into noodles, rice and fish. Most people are fully comfortable within one meal.
Do they get hot in hot food?
Titanium conducts heat far more slowly than steel or aluminum. The handle stays comfortable while you eat. Only the submerged tips pick up heat, and they shed it within a moment of leaving the broth.
Do they change the taste of food?
No. Grade 1 titanium is chemically inert and flavor neutral. It will not add a metallic taste and it will not absorb soy sauce, garlic or chili oil the way wood does.
Are they dishwasher safe?
Yes. There is no coating to degrade and nothing to rust. A wipe with a damp cloth after a meal also does the job, which is handy at a desk or a campsite.
Will they bend or break?

Love my titanium chopsticks! I blued them with my propane torch and they came out looking fantastic! They have a hollow but very durable construction that keeps them very lightweight and they feel great in the hand.

If you use chopsticks you'll love these! They're lightweight (~20g/pr.), nicely made and finished, inert, non-allergenic, last- forever tools for eating... what more could you want? The banded indents at the business ends give enough friction/holding-power to make them capable of picking up just about anything you'll want to eat (see the photo of holding a frozen blueberry), turkey legs are difficult though... And brilliantly, the other ends are square, making them easy to hold, and they won't roll off the table into your lap and onto the floor. I only wish they were a wee bit less expensive, but having worked with titanium myself, and knowing how difficult it is to work, not to mention how expensive, I'm actually surprised they don't cost more. If you like eating with chopsticks, buy these, you won't be disappointed!

Love these chopsticks. Even though I am a little rusty on using chopsticks these were easy to use. Nice soft squared handles, perfect stonewashed texture with subtle rings cut in the working ends made using these very doable; even though I haven’t in a very ling time. I will definitely be ordering another pair or two from this seller. My only nitpick is that I wish the seller had a metal storage tube option available for purchase, instead of a fabric sack.

I would use chopsticks every now and then, even with food you don't associate with chopsticks. Maybe because I usually eat at my desk working from home. In any case, the square shape makes it a lot easier to keep them in place with traditional dishware, they are extremely lightweight, easy to manipulate and easy to clean. I even got some more as gifts. 100% recommend.

these chopsticks feel good in the hands and they are not that slippery like other stainless steel ones especially when eating noodles. They are not too small nor big just the right size and the weigh is very light and I just love them and bought another pair and will buy some more for good friends later on.
