Buy It Once

You Buy Tools Once. Your Eating Utensil Should Not Be the Exception.

Count the plastic sporks that have snapped in your glove box, your lunch box, your pack. Every one of them failed the same way: at the first job that took real force. This is one solid piece of Grade 1 titanium, 9 inches long, 17 grams, with a reinforced spine that runs the full length. No hinge, no coating, no wear parts. It goes in the drawer or on the keyring and it never gets replaced.

The Material Argument

One Piece of Metal. Two Finishes. Zero Failure Points.

Grade 1 titanium is stronger than the steel equivalent at roughly 40 percent less weight, and it cannot rust, flake, or leach. The bowl is mirror polished so food releases and it feels like real silverware in your mouth. The handle is left matte so your grip holds even wet or greasy. Nothing here is applied to the surface. Both finishes are the metal itself, which is why neither one can peel off.

Weight
17 g

0.6 oz. Lighter than two AA batteries, carry bag included.

Length
9 in

Reaches the bottom of tall meal bags, deep pots, and jars.

Flex under load
None

Reinforced spine runs the full handle. Frozen peanut butter loses.

Note: 9 inches is deliberately long. It will not fit a shirt pocket or a tiny cook kit, and that is the trade: the length is what keeps your knuckles out of the food bag. It packs flat in the included carry bag or clips outside your pack through the keyring slot.

On the Job, At Camp, In the Kitchen

Does the Job. Every Job.

Bottom of the peanut butter jar without greasing your knuckles. Stirring chili in a deep pot on the tailgate. Yogurt at 5am before the shop opens. The polished bowl wipes clean in seconds and the whole thing rides the dishwasher when you get home. One utensil, no fuss, made right.

In the Kit

One Job. Done Right. Nothing Bolted On.

17 grams closes the utensil gap in your loadout. The keyring slot takes a carabiner or paracord, so it rides outside the pack and never goes missing in the dark. No hinge to fail, no plastic to crack in the cold, nothing to melt on a hot pot rim. Exact numbers: 9.0 inches long, 1.5 inch bowl, 0.7 inch handle. It works cold, wet, and greasy.

The 9-Inch Difference

Reach the Bottom of the Bag. Keep Your Hand Out of It.

Every freeze-dried meal ends the same way with a standard 6-inch spork: wrist deep in the bag, food on your sleeve. Nine inches reaches the bottom of any Mountain House bag, any deep pot, any tall jar, with your knuckles clear of the rim. The flat spine also keeps it from rolling off rocks, tailgates, and workbenches.

Failure Analysis

Every Spork Fails Somewhere. Find the Failure Mode.

Pick up any utensil and ask where it breaks. Plastic snaps, folding hinges wobble loose, coatings flake, short handles put your hand in the food. Each failure mode below was removed from this one at the design stage.

Component What usually fails This spork
Plastic body Snaps on frozen or dense food, usually mid-trip Solid titanium, reinforced spine, no flex
Folding hinge Wobbles loose, traps food, fails at the pivot One solid piece, no joints at all
Standard 6-inch handle Knuckles inside the meal bag by the last third 9 inch reach, hand stays clear of the rim
All-matte titanium bowl Rough on the tongue, food sticks to the texture Mirror polished bowl, smooth mouthfeel, wipes clean
Steel serving spoon Heavy, rusts at the seams, stays in the kitchen 17 g, cannot rust, goes everywhere

Before you order: this is a 9 inch long-handle spork, larger than a standard camp spork on purpose. It does not fold and will not fit small utensil pouches. The fork tines cut soft food and portion meat off the bone, but there is no serrated blade edge: keep your knife for knife work. Like all polished metal, the bowl can pick up fine surface marks with years of use against metal pots. They are cosmetic. There is no coating to flake off, ever.

FAQ

Questions, Answered Straight

How long is it exactly, and will it fit my cook kit?
About 9.0 inches tip to tip, with a 1.5 inch bowl and 0.7 inch handle. That is longer than a standard camp spork by design. It will not nest inside a small mug kit, so it ships with its own waterproof carry bag and has a keyring slot to clip it outside the pack instead.
Will it bend digging into frozen or dense food?
No. The handle carries a reinforced spine along its full length and titanium is stronger than steel at 40 percent less weight. Frozen ground coffee and refrigerated peanut butter are the standard tests. No flex, no wobble.
Does titanium have a metallic taste?
No. Grade 1 titanium is biologically inert with no coating and nothing to leach. The mirror polished bowl feels like proper silverware on the tongue and teeth, and it stays quiet against titanium and steel pots instead of scraping.
Can the polish or the matte finish wear off?
Neither finish is applied. Both are the surface of the metal itself, polished in the bowl and left matte on the handle. There is nothing to flake, peel, or season. Fine cosmetic marks from years of metal-on-metal use are the worst case.
Why not a folding spork? It packs smaller.
A hinge is a failure point and a food trap. Folding utensils loosen, collect grease in the pivot, and fail under exactly the load that a solid piece shrugs off. This is one piece of metal with no joints, which is why it can be dishwashered and abused indefinitely.
How do I carry it so it does not get lost?
Three ways: the included waterproof carry bag, a carabiner through the keyring slot onto pack webbing, or paracord through the same slot. In group camps, a short length of colored cord through the slot also marks it as yours.
Can it cut meat?
The fork tines cut soft food and pull cooked meat apart fine. There is no serrated edge on this model, so for real cutting keep a knife in the kit. That is a deliberate trade: no sharp edge means it is safe against your mouth, your pots, and the inside of your pack.
Is it safe on hot pots and open flame cooking?
Yes for stirring and eating: titanium will not melt, warp, or shed anything at cooking temperatures, and it will not scratch your titanium cookware. The handle can get hot if you leave it resting in a pot on the fire, so do not walk away with it in the pot.

Perfect for the trail side meals!

Ordered this product for my client. She has Cerebral Palsy and this facilitates the eating process for her instead of a regular fork or knife. She is too embarrassed to use it in public however.

I go camping almost every other week. This comes in very handy for reaching the bottom of the dehydrated meals and doesn't weigh too much.

Works great for eating backpack meals out of a pouch. The handle is long enough to keep your hand out of the pouch.

Perfect for reaching the bottom of a Nalgene bottle!
